SSE Enterprise Energy Solutions has been shortlisted for two prestigious honours at this year’s Building Controls Industry Association (BCIA) Awards.
This year’s awards ceremony and gala dinner will be held on Thursday 11 May 2017, at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole. The awards recognise excellence in the building controls sector with a particular focus on celebrating innovation, product development and project delivery.
SSE Enterprise Energy Solutions has been nominated in two categories; Best Service and Maintenance Provider for their work with OneFM; and Technical Innovation of the Year for their partnership with The City of Edinburgh Council.
Supporting the Building Energy Management System (BEMS) for OneFM at the Sellafield nuclear storage facility in West Cumbria, SSE Enterprise Energy Solutions has played a key role in identifying ways of reducing energy wastage and driving innovation at the site - generating significant cost savings.
For The City of Edinburgh Council, the team installed a new pilot building management system which enabled remote maintenance, operations and energy management across the Council’s building estate. The project was focused primarily on achieving lower operational costs and innovation, and has been commended for its flexibility and streamlined operation.
Keith Burnett, UK Support Sales Director, said “We are delighted to have been recognised by the industry with these awards - particularly in the Best Service and Innovation categories as we strive to attain the upmost standards in both. The nominations are testament to the forward thinking approach of our teams who are committed to reducing costs, saving energy and optimising the technology and long term sustainability of our customers’ assets.”
